The Komodo Series including plexa#1, intra#1 and X–screens and Komodo Animation were launched at Living Edge´s Brisbane Showroom in September 2008 and featured during Brisbane Saturday Indesign. The launch was made possible through the support of artisan and Living Edge.

plexa #1, The Komodo Series and Animation were presented in the Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Award Exhibition at Object Gallery (Sydney) in September 2008, Redland Art Gallery (Queensland) in April 2009, and at Melbourne Museum in November 2009. Waterson was named as a runner up for the 2008 award.
